Blind contour drawings are made without looking at the paper and without lifting the pen off of the paper while you draw. The process helps artists to focus on form. Create a few of these drawings. Think of your pen as a little ant. As you look at the persons eye for example, imagine a little ant crawling over the eye. Your pen should be at the exact part of the drawing where your eye is looking at the model. |
